Why does my cat sleep so much?
Because when they are awake, they are plotting to take over Earth. That takes a lot of energy so that is why they sleep so much.

Wet food or dry food?
There should be a healthy balance between the two. Each has their pros and cons, but in general dry food can helps with dental help as it scrapes plaque and tartar off when they chew. Dry food is often high in carbs and can be difficult for cats to digest properly and lead to excess weight gain and diabetes if the portions aren't controlled.Wet food provides extra water and is important for keeping your cat hydrated - in the wild, a cat's main source of water actually comes from the bodies of its prey. It also usually contains more protein than dry foods, which is good for obligate carnivores like cats! Also, while my cat will eat dry food, he only likes some brands of wet food, so that can be pretty frustrating trying to guess what he'll like as it's a bit more expensive than dry food. The things we do for our cats!

How can I keep my cat from biting my ankles?
Ouch!! Maybe your cat is bored and just looking for somewhere to let out his excess energy -- and that just so happens to be your ankles. I would say try getting some new toys so that when he starts attacking your ankles you can distract him and get him playing with the toy instead.also I've heard that if you make a high-pitched "Ow!" or cat-like yowl when they're biting you, it helps teach the cat that it's not appropriate play. So maybe give that a try as well!
